The Buyside Relationship team works with Investment Managers, Professionals and Traders from hundreds of Buyside firms, helping firms manage Reconciliation to ensure optimal alignment of resources and consumption, stay compliant with MiFID II requirements, and track and evaluate resource data to set and manage budgets.  Users also rely on our forward-looking calendar for insight into upcoming deals and events to help identify opportunities to drive alpha.


The Relationship Team is responsible for maximizing the value clients get from the Dealogic platform. They represent the frontline of Dealogic focused on retaining revenue and increasing adoption and usage of its products through driving continuous value for clients and maintaining and developing long term partnerships. 



The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing frontline relationships across a growing client base of Investment Managers. The Relationship Manager is a product expert with a thorough understanding of the capital markets, providing intelligent and focused analytical support to senior (VP+) level users and building relationships throughout the firm.

The Relationship Manager must be comfortable and capable of leading validations and pitches with senior contacts at covered firms which ultimately help maximize the value of Dealogic products and embed Dealogic as an essential part of client workflows.  The Relationship Manager will drive usage and adoption for both current and future products and proactively identify opportunities for growing revenue alongside Coverage and Sales teams.

The Relationship Manager will find ways to increase the footprint of Dealogic products throughout all covered clients, including the running of client workshops and knowledge sharing sessions, topical presentations and regular face to face meetings.


The Relationship Manager will oversee a team of Relationship Associates, providing guidance, direction and training and paving the way for success.  In this capacity, the Relationship Manager will serve as a role model to junior staff and mentor their development, providing training to upskill, setting goals and managing performance.

The Relationship Manager will also collaborate with internal teams where and when required to drive business results (media team-marketing, special analysis, development specifications, testing, cross-product training, info sessions).  This includes partnering with Product and Technology teams to advise on solutions and help deliver projects through completion.




Confident communicator who has the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and our clients. Ability to lead, promote and grow client relationships and set the example for more junior members of the team. The Relationship Manager requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, a pro-active and goal-oriented working style with the ability to think strategically and deliver results.


  • Educated to degree level.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, other languages useful
  • Self-motivated.
  • Team player who works collaboratively within the direct team and with other teams in the business. 
  • Ability to work under pressure when required and to tight deadlines and flexible with the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3-5 years’ experience in client facing role.
  • Experience presenting and pitching to senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally. 
  • Experience in proactively managing client relationships including the development of strategic plans for the relationship. 
  • An understanding of investment banking and the capital markets
  • Proven ability to understand external client strategy. 
  • Skilled in creating detailed strategic client plans for short, medium and long-term goals. 
  • Experience with a financial services company in a client support role (desirable)
  • Understanding of financial markets (desirable)
  • Experience or previous involvement in people management and mentoring (desirable)
